If you want to train your brain, chocolate has a plenty of various vitamins. I used to buy various types of chocolate in order to make myself happier. Drinking tea with a milk chocolate bar is a really effective option to relax. Chocolate can also be a really great present as well, for any occasion - for mom or your girlfriend as well.

I like to have everything complete (envelopes stuffed and packed, invitations sent) at least a week in advance of Murder Mystery Dinner Party the party. That reduces the likelihood of last minute rushes. They still happen, but with most of the preparations already complete, I find that last minute rushes are easier to deal with.

Card games are very good games for the human brain. Games like blackjack, solitaire and even games like Go fish have a positive effect on memory and your ability to focus for longer.
Personally im trying to learn to count cards in blackjack because you need to have a sharp brain to be able to do this for a longer period of time. I read this interesting article in danish a month ago that got me super interested in card games / Mads Saks.
