Gmail is a free email service developed by Google. To fix Gmail not receiving email on Android, first try and update Gmail Application on your device. Remove your Gmail account from the “Accounts & Passwords” located in “Settings” of your device and add it back. Clear the cache by going to “Settings” on the device, then tapping on “Apps manager,” locating and selecting “Gmail” from the list and tapping on “Clear Cache.”
