Solution: Examine the memory of your tab
It's possible you've been using too many tabs in Chrome, or that some tabs are taking up all your memory. You need to look at the amount of memory used by your Chrome tab. To do so:

In your Chrome browser use the shift or Esc keys on your keyboard simultaneously.
Examine the memory footprint for the usage of memory in the tabs.
If you'd like to close a window (if you suspect it's taking up too much memory) then select on it and then click End the process.
Check the memory usage of Chrome and check if this resolved the problem. It should have. However, if it didn't it did, you may have taken the time to.
