Cubic zirconia vs Diamond for a long term earring?
-
Please help! I have a couple questions
Are there different grades of cubic zirconia? I have cz studs of different prices on my ear right now from my piercer, brand unknown— one priced at $12 and another at $38. One of the $12 ones (both 1.5 years old now) clouded in a week while the other remains sparkly but not as sparkly as my $38 one, which has not (obviously) changed since I got it a year ago.
Is it inevitable that a CZ stone cloud? Will a diamond stone ever cloud?
Should I get a diamond over the $38 CZ for long term wear? I don’t ever plan to replace my studs unless they fall off. As a note, BVLA sells a 1.5mm diamond stud for $138 but a CZ stud for $80.
Thanks!

I would prefer diamond earrings as they look much prettier and are also much stronger than zirconia. I think you know that often, if the zirconia is dropped, it breaks and the piece of jewelry becomes unwearable. Therefore, I can advise you to pay attention to these yellow diamond stud earrings.
They will cost a little more than zirconia jewelry, but they will last you much longer and look much better.
