"Hostiles" is described as a revisionist western starring Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike. I really recommend it as a superb film - heart rending and gripping to up until the last scene. Bale, who is noted for immersing himself in character plays a hardened, brutalised veteran of the Indian Wars. Everyone around him seems damaged and unhinged by their experiences. It seems like the raw and bitter relative of Dances With Wolves but with equally stunning visuals. Worth a watch.

I think Christian Bale did an excellent job in this movie and it definitely deserves an Oscar. I also think that every person who likes to watch quality movies should watch this film directed by Rick Scott Jason Cooper, as it was created according to the best laws of westerns and you will definitely not be disappointed by watching this film.
