i also have a problem with any subtitles loading!!

after many months this problem appears to have been sorted by the latest windows update or chrome or whatever, but i noticed it all ok since last fast ring windows Build 15208

its been a very long time since i watched a movie without interruptions ...especially as i am an early adopter (windows fast ring) shame no fix. real shame

another characteristic of this bug is if you pause media it will un-pause itself and just resume playing after a few minutes.. perhaps its the same "pulse" that causes it to restart every few minutes

@astrocity wonder why nothing from developers.... last tie i had an issue .... many many moons ago, they were all helpful and all... now not a peep from anyone

i have used videostream for so long, and i would love to see a new lounge/settee now and then or rotate through a number now and then or for special occasions

and no replies to email asking for help. weird. i wonder whats going on behind the scenes....

I would liike an option to mute ads to upgrade s I am already a premium user. I would like to see more movie ads and movie related cards. There are too few. I like the information presented, and its fun to watch while I pause between viewings

Can someone explain to me why a valid internet connection is required.

I live in rural area and on Friday nights i cant get a stable connection. This means I have considerable trouble watching local media.. (which i want to watch because i cant surf etc)

I have noticed that once videostream has made an initial handshake or whatever it will continue to pay movies all the through the night regardless of my online status... but sometimes get the initial connection can take me 20 minutes or more..

so I'm curious what do we need the internet for? And is there a way to get around this?

is it possible to use videostream as remote without it going into infinite loop looking for and requesting I 'add a folder' which i dont want to do.>?

crazy ...to think that my viewing was determined by a switch back at the mother-ship.. how its all inextricably linked

same here. Other apps work like plex, I last used videostream yesterday night and I have had no updates that I can think of .. Ah well ...

so lets say i finish watching a series via the playlist feature and now decide to just watch a movie. would be good if the playlist would just go away (when its obvious) that the user has selected to play a media file without adding to the playlist but rather but selecting it in the 'old method' -- and while i'm here the subtitle menu system/selection is a little messy to say the least. Eg to use my own external subs i have to select this in another area from the autodownlading premuim area .. could do with a little tidy up!

so i have videostream mobile on a mobile device and i decide to play a game .. when i attempt to change volume of game videostream mobile app reduces volume of media being cast.. Ok i can simply disconnect the app, but is there a more elegant way to do this?

so great we now have a continue button, but oddly it does nor reload subtitles.. doesn't make sense why would you want to continue a show without them?

i would like to see the mobile app being enhanced over time in synchrony with the main app. for instance / continue watching / last played etc
